"We used Ubbink foam ductwork for a recent project of 14 Air source cylinders. The ductwork is very easy to use, light in weight but very sturdy. Cutting required lengths is easy using a smooth blade saw. There is no extra insulation required as it’s foam already. Ubbink were very helpful throughout the process from start to finish with any questions we had. I will be using Ubbink on all future projects where this type of ductwork is required"
The Project:
After much planning and preparation, Paul at PG Plumbing selected Coastline Plumbing and Heating Supplies for the materials of all 14 apartments.
The install consisted of using Ubbink's Aerfoam Ducting for Air source heat pumps. Coastline are experts in finding the right solution and products for their customers and supplied the materials to PG Plumbing as per a recommendation. Of these materials Ubbink Aerfoam was selected to duct the air source heat pumps.
Insulated ducts in air distribution systems used for ventilation, heating or cooling are required to minimise temperature change and prevent condensation on or in the duct. Using the complete Aerfoam system with airtight mechanical connections ensures the install is meeting the local requirements and maximising the performance of the air source heat pump. This was Paul and the teams first time using Ubbink and they found the product easy to use, lightweight and quick to install!
