2 Years manufacturer's warranty

Ubbink has years of experience with ventilation units and the product quality is exceptional, however should there still be a defect in the 2 years following the commissioning date, you have the right to have it repaired. As an end user, you are entitled to 2 years legal warranty. This must be given (required by law), by the seller of the installation to the end user. In most cases, your installer is responsible for providing the warranty on the units supplied and on his installation work. This is not the responsibility of the unit manufacturer. This applies not only to Ubbink, but to all installations and brands that work with intermediaries to distribute their products.

Since Ubbink always works with the intervention of installers, Ubbink has no legal warranty obligation to the end customer, nor to the installer. Nevertheless, Ubbink has made the decision to provide a 2-year manufacturer's warranty on parts on all new residential ventilation units to fulfil the warranty obligation. For all Vigor units purchased after 01/01/24, the manufacturer’s warranty also extends to 5-years on the fan units specifically. This factory warranty commences from the commissioning date ** of the units and is not valid in the event of defects due to misuse or lack of recommended maintenance.

Warranty includes:

• Free replacement of faulty parts 

Warranty does not include: 

• Installers working hours and transportation costs. 
• Any consequential losses resulting from the failure. 

Coverage requirements: 

• The manufacturer’s warranty applies if the unit and air distribution system are designed, installed, and maintained according to Ubbink guidelines. Installation guidelines can be found in both the general installation manual downloadable from www.ubbink.co.uk and on the abbreviated installation manual included in the box. Filters were serviced and replaced annually. Maintenance guidelines can be found in the general assembly instructions downloadable from www.ubbbink.co.uk
• The installation must have been carried out according to country-specific standards.
• Valid only for the UK

Warranty Extension

Extended 5-year manufacturers’ warranty Extend the warranty of your Ubiflux Vigor ventilation unit from 2 years to 5 years and receive 5 free filter sets! Cost to extend to 5 years is £100. 

With the extended warranty, you can count on:

• Free replacement of faulty parts within the first 5 years
• 5 filter sets G4 (1 replacement set per year).

Warranty does not include:

• Installers working hours and transportation costs.
• Any consequential losses resulting from the failure.

Coverage requirements: 

• Unit registration must be completed within 3 months of commissioning date.
• The manufacturer’s warranty applies if the unit and air distribution system are designed, installed, and maintained according to Ubbink guidelines.
• Installation guidelines can be found in both general installation manual downloadable from www.ubbink.co.uk and on the abbreviated installation manual included in the box.

• Filters were serviced and replaced annually. Maintenance guidelines can be found in the general assembly instructions downloadable from www.ubbbink.co.uk

• The ventilation unit is subjected to a thorough internal maintenance after 3 years. Maintenance guidelines can be found in the general assembly instructions downloadable from www.ubbbink.co.uk You have a maintenance contract with your installer or maintenance partner for the unit and the maintenance history is recorded.

• The installation must have been carried out according to country-specific standards.

• Valid only for the UK.

• Registration for the extended warranty must be done online through the Ubbink website under warranties.
