Ubiflex Finio lead-free flashing

The quality of the roof often determines the quality of the building and its waterproofing is a key component. Roofs do more than just keep a building dry; they are also used to terminate ductwork systems, bring more daylight into the building, generate renewable energy, etc, and their increasing complexity demands innovative waterproofing solutions. This is where Ubiflex Finio can play a vital role; its (light)weight, malleability and unique double adhesion means an easy, quick, durable and waterproof finish to the many intersections on roofs in seconds.

Watertight in seconds

Ubiflex Finio is a high quality non-lead flashing, which can be used to waterproof buildings. It is lightweight and malleable, allowing it to be easily formed into an infinite variety of shapes to form stepped flashings, abutment flashings, chimney flashings, pitched roof valley liners, dormer window flashings, rooflight and solar panel flashings. It can be dressed at temperatures as low as 5°C and it sticks to most materials.

How do you install Ubiflex Finio?

First cut Ubiflex Finio to size with a sharp knife or the Ubiflex scissors. Then remove the cover of the top adhesive butyl strip and gently press it onto the surface and mould it with your hands. Then remove the cover of the bottom adhesive butyl strip and gently press it onto the surface and mould it with your hands. Finally, roll the whole surface for a durable, waterproof finish. Ubiflex Finio has both butyl strips and an adhesive back, can stretch, has no memory and if it overlaps with another piece, then vulcanisation will result in the 2 pieces becoming one.
