Discover the benefits of the Ventus

Introducing Ventus, the next-generation insulated roof terminal designed to revolutionise heat recovery ventilation systems in both residential and small commercial buildings. Engineered with smart insulation and sleek design, the Ventus stands out as the go-to solution for modern roofing needs.

Easy Installation

Installing a traditional roof duct usually involves running it perpendicularly through a sloped roof, which can be a complex process. However, the Ventus offers a groundbreaking solution by also going perpendicularly through the roof but with a unique approach that makes installation much easier.

The Ventus requires only a minimal opening, simplifying the installation process. After determining and marking the desired position on the roof, you cut a circular right-angled opening. The Ventus roof duct is then easily placed into this opening. Inside, the ventilation pipes can be mounted directly along the roof boarding, which saves valuable interior space.

To ensure a waterproof seal, the Ventus comes with a Ubiflex cover part that fits snugly under the roof tiles. After replacing the tiles and connecting the Ubiflex to their top, the Ventus cover is placed on the feed-through. Finally, it is adjusted to ensure a perfect vertical alignment and securely fixed in place.

Higher Insulation Values

The Ventus roof duct is designed to preserve the insulation values of your roof better than traditional systems. Unlike conventional ducts that require a larger, oval opening, the Ventus’s circular design allows for a smaller and more airtight hole.

The Ubiflex cover on the outside and the airtight duct sleeve on the inside ensure that the Ventus duct remains well-sealed. This setup can be easily placed against the roof boarding, maintaining the roof’s insulation integrity and reducing potential energy losses.

Universally Applicable

The Ventus roof duct is designed to be universally applicable, making it suitable for both pitched and flat roofs and compatible with all types of roof tiles. It is also designed to work seamlessly with various WTW units and heat pumps that require air supply.

Ventus ducts are available in a range of common diameters (150, 160, 180, and 200 mm) and come with options for a cover part and either a sliding shell or adhesive plate. This versatility ensures that Ventus can meet a wide range of installation requirements.

Minimal Resistance

One of the standout features of the Ventus is its minimal resistance, which offers several additional benefits. The ventilation system operates more efficiently, leading to lower energy consumption. Additionally, the reduced noise level of the system contributes to a more comfortable and quieter living environment.
