Analytical cookies

As well as the above types of cookies, our website makes use of a cookie that is issued by the American company Google, as part of their “Analytics” service, Google AdWords and the Google Dynamic Remarketing services. Google states clearly what they do with this data and information. The reason that we use these cookies is so that we can track how often our website is visited. It also provides us with information about how visitors use our website, and so we can provide you with all the support you need in finding the right answer. The consolidated data we collect is processed and analysed by Ubbink BV and an external party. We do not permit this other party to use the data they receive from us for any other purpose than what is agreed between us. In this way, we can make sure that the experience of our website is improved continuously. Google may pass this information to third parties, if Google is required to do so by law, or if those third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no control over this. We have given Google permission to use the Analytics information they receive from us for other Google services.

We would like to point out that the information that Google collects is anonymised as far as possible. In particular, your IP address is deliberately not included. The information is sent to Google, who store it on servers in the United States. Social media

Social media cookies and third party cookies are issued by the various websites of the social media themselves. If you click a social media button on our website, then a social media cookie will be stored. The social media party can recognise your IP address at the moment when you ask to share any part of our website. These website buttons are included to be able to promote or share web pages (“like” “tweet”, "share") on social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. These buttons work using fragments of code that come from LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook themselves. The cookies are stored using this code. We have no control over this. The information that these companies collect is anonymised as far as possible. The information is sent to LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube and they store it on servers in the United States. LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube have pledged to respect the Safe Harbor principles and are part of the Safe Harbor programme of the United States Department of Trade. This includes references to an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.
